In most cases, the properties described here are not situations in which IFI has any contract agreement with the current owner. The owners have acknowledged an interest to sell. Interested buyers will need to understand that they will need to enter into a fee agreement with IFI in order to proceed.
An agency agreement offers additional benefits to an investor. It puts us in the position to be able to search out additional, and at times better, opportunities. It also allows us to critically analysis projects presented and to assist on the investors’ behalf in the investment process and potentially in ongoing management or monitoring of activities to help assure the best possible success and results of any investment.
